BiographyHistory

Boussenard was a journalist and novelist, who wrote for Journal des Voyages, a monthly magazine specialising in traveller's tales. He travelled to Guyana, Morocco, Sierra Leone, the French West Indies and the southern United States. Although three of his novels contain an Australian setting, he never visited Australia.
