They spend their spare time trick riding on their push bikes or hanging out in the old abandoned kombi van in the alley next to the park. One day while at the park the kids see a man mistreating a beagle he is walking. They decide to rescue the dog and in the process discover something far more sinister - a pedigree-dog laundering ring. The dogs are beloved pets that are stolen, taken to the local pound and marked as 'deceased'. They are then sold to unknown buyers.
