BiographyHistory

Matthew Foley was educated in Brisbane and spent fourteen years in Queensland state politics. He served as a minister in four governments and was Arts Minister before his retirement in 2004. After retiring from politics Foley returned to the Bar and chaired the Queensland Writers Centre.
