1 Lost is My Quiet John Aitken , 2007 single work drama 'Living in a terror-ridden South-East Asian city, Jody Fielding is a writer of voyeuristic pulp fiction: "Somehow I've got this gift, the way I use words, I can make the reader feel he's actually having sex with the most exotic women or boys in the whole of Asia." He shares his life with Libbie, an ex-hooker who feeds him stories from her lurid past. They are visited by an ex-lover of Jody's named Simon, who claims to have become a born-again Christian. He also claims he is being shadowed by his doppelganger, an exact copy of himself. Trouble is, the doppelganger is a born-again serial killer. Is Simon deranged? Or is the doppelganger real?' According to Robert Hood, 'A reclusive doctor experiments with the brain and memory, seeking the secret of life in order to revivify his dead wife'.

The Australian Centre for the Moving Image expands slightly on this synopsis, saying that 'At first glance the film's plot reads as a retread of Rocky Horror, minus the tunes. A young couple picnicking on the beach come across an eccentric cross-dressing doctor who is involved with some bizarre experiments involving some very stressed out monkeys. Faster than you can say timewarp, the innocent couple are embroiled in the doctor's fiendish plans to reanimate his dead wife.'
