BiographyHistory

Travers-Vale was educated at Greenville College Ballarat. After leaving school he wrote essays and articles for various publications and also became a professional actor. He wrote plays including 'The Spider's Web', 'The Artist', 'Strolling Players', 'Life', 'Golden Hearts, 'The Cannon's Mouth' and was the first to dramatize The Mystery of a Hansom Cab by Fergus Hume (q.v.).
