BiographyHistory

In 2014, Associate Professor Anitra Nelson was a researcher in the RMIT-AHURI Research Centre, where she taught and evaluated community-based environmental programs, and was an editor, writer, and filmmaker.

In addition to the works listed on AustLit, Nelson edited Steering Sustainability: Policy, Practice and Performance in an Urbanizing World (2007, Ashgate, London); published her doctoral thesis, Marx’s Concept of Money: The God of Commodities, with Routledge (London, 1999), and published a collection she co-edited with Frans Timmerman, Life Without Money: Building Fair and Sustainable Economies, with Pluto Press (London, 2011).
