BiographyHistory

The Adelaide printing and publishing firm Hussey and Gillingham, founded in 1888 by a partnership of J. W. Gillingham and George Frederick Hussey, became Gillingham, Swann and Co. in 1921 following Hussey's retirement. G. C. Swann, who was Gillingham's nephew, retired in 1924 and the firm became Gillingham and Co.
