Australian billionaire Sly Morgan is invited to join the Stark Conspiracy, a group of the world's richest people, who plan to save themselves from the Earth's impending environmental doom. Colin Dobson, or CD to his friends, tries to impress beautiful activist Rachel by joining her and a group of hippies on a mission to foil Stark's evil plan of environmental vandalism.

A man who is the exact double of an expert forger is recruited by treasury agents as part of an elaborate scheme to break a criminal organisation that is laundering counterfeit money.

Theatre 625 was a British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) drama anthology series transmitted on BBC2 between 1964 and 1968. In all, 114 ninety-minute plays were produced. Some of the best-known productions were a 1965 production of George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four (using Nigel Kneale's 1954 theatrical adaptation); John Hopkins's four-part drama Talking to a Stranger (1966), which told the same story from four different viewpoints; and the 1968 science-fiction allegory The Year of the Sex Olympics. Among the screenplays known to have been written by an Australian or Australian resident is The Swallow's Nest by Robert Wales (1968).

A British television series of one-off plays made by the BBC. The series gave breaks to a wide range of writers and directors in the late 1960s, including Dennis Potter, Ken Loach, David Mercer, and John Hopkins. Australia's Alan Seymour also had two of his plays produced in 1965 - The Trial and Torture of Sir John Rampayne and Auto-Stop. Some of the more famous productions include Up the Junction; Cathy Come Home; Stand Up Nigel Barton; Vote, Vote, Vote For Nigel Barton; On the Eve of Publication; and Son of Man. The series often addressed controversial issues such as homelessness and abortion.

Two schoolteachers, Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright, become concerned by the unusual behavior of their fifteen-year-old student, Susan Foreman. When they follow her home, they meet her mysterious grandfather, the Doctor, and find themselves unwilling passengers on his time ship. The first episode deals with Ian and Barbara's discovery of the Doctor and the TARDIS in a junkyard in contemporary London. The following three episodes are set amid a power struggle between warring Stone Age factions.
