The four authors, listed on the title page on the above work only by their initials, were students at Presbyterian Ladies' College, Melbourne. One author has now been identified as Laura Blair, B McL is almost certainly Elizabeth (Betty) McLaurin, while A C is either Alice Coote, Amande Corcoran and Annie Cumming; E B has not been identified.
