R. J. Hauser has written a M.Ed.St. thesis at the University of Queensland: "An Historical Analysis of the Lutheran School Boom in Queensland 1970-1990" (1990) and undertaken a PhD at the University of Queensland on the history of the first hundred years of Lutheran schooling in Australia. In 1995 he published Never in Vain: A History of the First Fifty Years of Concordia College, Toowoomba 1946-1996. He has worked at various Lutheran institutions and is Head of College at Redeemer Lutheran College in Brisbane.
