  • Ken Clift completed his education at Paddington Technical, Cleveland Street and Crown Street schools before moving to Fiji to work for CSR. Clift served with the Second AIF during World War II earning the Distinguished Conduct Medal for his actions in Tobruk in 1941. Following the war, Clift worked as a draftsman, a plumber and a sales manager

    Clift wrote several books on Australian military history.
