BiographyHistory

Rachel Tonkin studied illustration at RMIT and has since worked as a freelance illustrator. Her first job was with the National Theatre designing and painting theatre sets and making masks. She has been living in Castlemaine, Victoria.

Rachel writes many non-fiction books for children including a life cycle series of picture books published by Wayland (Hachette) in 2019.
