BiographyHistory

Samuel Thomas Knaggs was a well known Sydney medical practitioner and University Lecturer. He was also a skillled conjurer. Apart from his novel, Dr de Lion, which was an attack on clairvoyants, he wrote many pamphlets, medical books, Recreations of an Australian Surgeon (1888) and Human Fads, Foibles, Fallacies, Fallibilities, etc (1898). He edited the Australasian Medical Gazette from 1895 to 1901.
