BiographyHistory

Tom Quinn left school at the age of fifteen and went to work in a shipping line office. In 1975 he re-located to Rotterdam where he worked in oil-related shipping. After a time he returned to Scotland and established his own small shipping and forwarding company. Quinn migrated to Australia in 1988. He worked in the oil industry and was based in Melbourne and Darwin. He visited Singapore, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea in the course of his work.
