University student Jane earns some extra money working as an assistant to Dr Steven Phillip, whose lonesome old house is filled with the chimpanzees that are his test subjects. Apart from Jane and Phillip, the only other occupant of the house is the butler, an orangutan called Link. After Phillip decides Link needs to be euthanised, Jane arrives at work to find Phillip gone, Link behaving more and more irrationally, and the phone line dead ...
