BiographyHistory

Michael McCoy has a PhD in physiology from the University of Melbourne. He has worked as a conditioning coach for several years at the Richmond Football Club in the AFL, and since 1993 has been the managing director of Energetic Consulting, a health and fitness consultancy. He is a freelance journalist and writes regular columns on health and nutition for the Financial Review Magazine and the Weekend Financial Review. He also writes features on sport and health for a number of other publications.
