BiographyHistory

Morison was a Presbyterian clergyman. He is known to have lived in the New England region of New South Wales from the early 1850s through until ca. 1860. He appears to have left the colony in ca. 1863, soon after delivering a lecture (or lectures) in which he criticised the Robertson Land Acts. Beyond this little is known of his life. The title page of Australia as it Is states that he was 'thirteen years resident in the interior of New South Wales'.
