Arthur McQuitty 'was the printer of Art in Australia [q.v.] publications from the inception of the company in 1916...Art in Australia commenced its career shortly afterwards, and undoubtedly the excellent printing of it gave an incentive to better work in printing in this country. It helped to show what could be done in careful printing in colour and black and white...In 1920 The Home began its career and was another feather in Arthur McQuitty's cap as printer...Many people who had admired his craftsmanship visited him at his curious old-fashioned "shop" in a lane off Kent Street...and were surprised to find such a rambling old-fashioned premises from which so much good work emanated.'
