BiographyHistory

Derek Fenton described himself in 2008 as 'a Zimbabwean living in Australia'. Fenton grew up in Rhodesia, later Zimbabwe, during the 1950s and 1960s. He attended Durban and Harare Universities and then returned to teach at his former school, Milton High. Fenton has traveled widely and has lived in Perth, Western Australia, since the 1980s where he has taught Mathematics and English as a Second Language at Perth Modern High School.
