1 Make Me Cry Ben Speth , 2007 single work drama 'In the Spring/Summer of 2005 "Lady in the Boot Case" plays itself out in the pages of Australia's newspapers: Maria Korp, mother of two, is found near death in the boot of her car. Joe Korp, Maria's estranged husband and Tania Herman, Joe's girlfriend, are accused of assault and attempted murder. By year's end Maria's life support is discontinued, Joe hangs himself in his garage on the evening of her interment and Tania gets 9 years for her role in the crime. Make Me Cry is a fiction made from brutal fact. It is a theatrical investigation of form and language in the spirit of Forced Entertainment and Jerome Bel. Through 4 interconnected monologues Make Me Cry examines theatrical convention and the ethics of looking - what it means to be a witness.' Source: www.fortyfivedownstairs.com (Sighted 13/07/2007).
