BiographyHistory

Luis Pinel left El Salvador, his country of birth, in 1980 to live in Costa Rica, then Nicaragua and Mexico. He came to Australia in 1984, settling in Melbourne where, as well as writing poetry, he has participated in community theatre groups and choirs. (From Over the Horizon, p. 183.)
