BiographyHistory

American author of eight novels and several well known screenplays, some co-authored with other screenwriters, including Dr. Strangelove, Easy Rider and The Collector. His novel, Candy, co-authored with Mason Hoffenburg, was banned in Australia in 1964 and his novel Blue Movie was banned in Australia in 1971.
