BiographyHistory

Athol Tiver grew up in Hallett, did his secondary schooling at Scotch College, Adelaide, and gained a Bachelor of Agricultural Science at Adelaide University. He worked for a while on a station east of Terowie, then together with his brother bought Spring Dam Station at Yunta. He retired in 1988, and in 1997 he and his wife moved in to Yunta for the education of their grandchilden.

Athol Tiver also wrote a column for the Yunta Newsletter, writing as 'Saltbush Sage'.
