1 Said Jack Wren A. G. S. , 1906 single work biography
— Appears in: Steele Rudd's Magazine , August 1906; (p. 658-662)

In 1906 Wren was under increasing attack from opponents concerned at his various illicit gaming operations, etc. Wren appears to have engaged 'A. G. S.' (possibly A. G. Stephens) to ghost-write this biographical piece in order to improve his public image.
