'Like the main character you are about to get to know, this book did not follow the normal path. The idea of Roadman was conceived as a screenplay and was ultimately produced as a major motion feature film in 2008 of the same name. I was lucky, and honoured, to be given the opportunity by peter Leovic and Helen Icic to turn their screenplay into a manuscript, and finally this book. I just hope I have done justice to their characters and story (Foreword).
