AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The people of Milltown are concerned when council bulldozers move in to construct a new dam. Mill City needs more water, so a dam must be built. But why disturb the peace of Milltown? What will happen to the platypuses in Mill Creek when the water level rises, and to the animals that inhabit the rainforest when the trees are removed? With the passing of time all these questions are answered and the platypuses return to a new, larger lake. But, for the people of Milltown, life has changed forever. (Source: Back cover)
