'An account of Aboriginals in the Port Phillip region, what is known of the Kulin people, descriptions of camps at Mordialloc and Templestowe, and of an Aboriginal protectorate. Local archaeology is discussed as a method of investigating the past. With further reading, illustrative sources and index.
