In the 'Rincon Poetico' [Poetic corner] section of this issue of Tabaré, 'Jade' writes: 'no quiero que nuestra revista sirva para crear rencores o reproches entre los compatriotas, ése no es le mejor camino para seguir.' [I do not want our magazine to create bitterness or recriminations among our compatriots, this is not the best path forward.] Jade then asks that a series of lines from 'Orientalito' by Uruguayan writer Mario Benedetti be published. They appear following Jade's comment.
