AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'When Dromkeen was put up for sale in 2012, a sense of sadness permeated the children's writing community For forty years the National trust registered home at Riddles Creek, 50 kilometres north of Melbourne, had been an integral part of the children's book scene in Victoria. It housed the vast collection of original illustrations, manuscripts and children's books amassed by Joyce and Courtney Oldmeadow, the property's third owners.'
