'Containing the music of the melodies as sung by this favourite troupe, and other popular pieces' (cover), Weston and Hussey Minstrels Book of Songs No 2 was published in late August or early September 1869, around three months after the troupe had made its Australian debut at Melbourne's St George's Hall (renamed Weston's Opera House for the occasion). The first volume had been made public in late June.
