AbstractHistoryArchive Description

After a few years' absence from Melbourne, 'Aquarius' renews 'an acquaintance of many years' standing with the sporting readers of Victoria'. His reflections on the Yarra River and its regattas include regular poetry quotations (e.g. from William Cowper's 'The Sofa' and William Shakespeare's The Tempest).
