A short paragraph on the end of the current season of performances and the closure of the Royal Victoria Theatre appears on page 2 of this issue. It was anticipated that the theatre would 'be re-opened in about three weeks'. The paragraph includes mention of the last benefit of the season (for John Meredith) and the size of the house.
