The 'entertainments' available in Sydney during the previous week include two circuses and a Japanese acrobatic troupe, together with a pantomime at the Prince of Wales Opera House (p. 13). (The pantomime being produced at the Prince of Wales, but not named in the advertisement, was Harlequin, Jack the Giant Killer, and, The Little Middies of the Galatea.)
