Deane, Leader of the Orchestra, and his Four Sons' at the Royal Victoria Theatre, Sydney, on 22 September 1838 to include the 'grand Operatic Legendary Drama, with the original Music, by Carl Maria Von Webber, in three Acts, entitled Der Freischultz', the 'grand Historical Drama, in three Acts, called Gustavus III' including 'the original overture' for Gustavus and '[t]he original Chorus "Long live the King," ... sung, for the first time, by the whole of the characters.' The program also lists the songs and dances to be performed during the evening.
