BiographyHistory

Arpad 'Paddy' Bacskai was born in Székesfehérvár, Hungary. Following the end of World War II Bacskai was declared an Internally Displaced Person and in 1950 he was sent with his immediate family to Australia. Middle Hill Child is an account of his experiences as a child in war-torn Europe.
