AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Erotic romantic suspense series (political thriller).

'Vistaria is an island nation one hundred miles off the coast of Mexico that in the first book, Red Leopard, was populated by an Hispanic race, the Vistarians, that enjoy life, food, women and wine, and work hard. It is an idyllic place, but was overshadowed by the threat of rebellion. During the first book the rebels—the insurrectos—took over Vistaria and the benign governing junta, executing the president. The president’s brother, the hero of the first novel, Nick Escobedo, gathers the remaining leaders of Vistaria under his control and settles temporarily in Acapulco to plan the defeat of the insurrectos and the return of Vistaria to its people once more.

'The winning back of Vistaria by Nicolás Escobedo and his people, and the governing of the new country, which will be fraught with its own problems, will be a a challenge from book to book.'
