(p. 8-10)'The Australian Science Fiction Foundation was established in 1976 to carry on the work of Aussiecon, the first Australian World Science Fiction Convention, which was held in Melbourne in 1975, 40 years ago. That convention made a small profit, and we see The Foundation as being custodians of that money in perpetuity.'
