'Born and raised in Chongqing, China, Shiyin Pan had a dream of writing a series of children’s picture books with a panda bear main character. After relocating to South Australia and giving birth to a baby girl, Shiyin found some free time in between taking care of her household and reading stacks of picture books to her adorable daughter.
