Yvonne Urquhart lectures in primary education at Edith Cowan University. She has taught across a wide variety of content areas with expertise in literacy units. She is passionate about developing preservice teachers' understanding of the importance of sharing quality and inclusive literature with children. She contributes to research projects in the field as well as supporting the development of core content for initial teacher education courses.
