BiographyHistory

'Adriana Verges is an associate professor of marine ecology at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. Her research focuses on climate change impacts and the conservation of the world's threatened algal forests and seagrass meadows. She was awarded a Green Globe Award in 2017 for her 'Operation Crayweed' work restoring underwater forests, and the UNSW Emerging Thought Leader prize in 2019.'
