BiographyHistory

Jeannie Lewis is an Australian singer and stage performer whose work covers many different styles such as folk, jazz, Latin, blues, opera, rock and fusion. She has published some of her lyrics.

Although primarily a solo artist (or working with session musicians), she was one of the two vocalists in Peter Sculthorpe's Love 200, which was scored for two singers, an orchestra and rock band. In the Sydney performance (February 1970), she performed with prog rock band Tully and the Sydney Symphony Orchesta/ In the Adelaide prdocution, she performed with rock band Fraternity, then fronted by Bon Scott, and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
