'Book reviews have long been used by selectors and have become more prevalent with the growth of review blogs and other social media outlets. Having been a reviewer of children's and young adult literature for close to twenty years, I often think of my reader, many of whom I expect are librarians and teachers, booksellers and others interested in creating, reading and sharing literature for and with young people.'
