AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Ephiny Gale (from Melbourne, Victoria) knew she wanted to be a writer from the age of seven. At first she thought she would accomplish that through poetry or novel writing, then at the age of 16 or 17 she started writing screenplays. At university she became excited about theatre and started to write stage plays and librettos. And finally, at 21, Ephiny learned that it was possible to write and publish short fiction (having previously thought you could only get short fiction published if you were already a famous novelist) and she has been largely concentrating on that for the past decade.' 'Abandon all hope, ye who enter here. This is not a happy place. As we steer the ship back to Earth’s orbit, you would be forgiven for thinking the planet was abandoned. Those plumes of smoke and the dark nights aren’t promising. But if you look a little closer you’ll see there are survivors... probably more than you’d expect.'
