'Martin Blake has written on sport for 35 years, most of it with The Age. He has covered 30 AFL seasons and several Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, US Masters golf tournaments, the British Open Championship and various Australian cricket tours. He has won numerous awards for writing on Australian football, cricket and golf, and is a member of the MCG Media Hall of Fame. Blake has written several books, including The Mighty Fighting Hawks (2015) and The Rise of the Swans (2013), and co-authored bestselling autobiographies with Dane Swan (2016) and Mark 'Bomber' Thompson (2016).
