AbstractHistoryArchive Description
'This story was composed after an unforgettable experience in Arnhem Land on Rambarranga and Dalabon country, welcomed and taught by a group of rangers from across West Arnhem Land, who continue to inspire me to this day. I hope this story inspires all readers to learn more about the culture and traditions of our First Nations people, let us continue the journey of reconciliation. I hope this story inspires young people in Arnhem Land to feel strong and proud of their cultural identity and connection to land and people. Thank you to all the rangers for welcoming me onto their country and keeping me safe and fed well. But most of all, thank you for teaching me from the first billy boiled to the last.'
