AbstractHistoryArchive Description
' 'Greta Leibowitz, the mail-carrier' for Grantville, arrived in her spiffy new van with a bright new logo. She was greeted by the sight of every single man on the street walking out to check their mail at once. She was glad for some fresh faces, even as each new person said, 'thank you for the delivery' with the same politely hollow tone and tight expression reserved for postal workers. She felt like she was being watched - not leered at, but scrutinized. Even as she drove to the next street on her route.'
