BiographyHistory

‘Walking with Spirits Festival is a cultural event unique to Djilpin Arts and the Beswick Community. Every July since 2002, the community has gathered at the spectacular wilderness site of Beswick Falls, inviting visitors to this special country to celebrate culture, land and people. Presented with the support of the Australian Shakespeare Company, Walking with Spirits his an Aboriginal Festival featuring traditional dance, song and music, film, puppetry and fire, contemporary Aboriginal culture. Special guests from around Arnhem Land, the Torres Strait Islands, Fiji and the Rotuman Islands, Aoteroa, Timor-Leste and Papua New Guinea visit, making it one of the most treasured events on the Northern Territory cultural and festival calendar.’
