'The article reports on competition in countries regarding moon exploration as countries such as the U.S. India, South Korea and Japan will send up robotic spacecraft in the next few years. It mentions that writer Tim Winton lamented the "quarry mentality" that leads to short-sighted decisions on Earth, such as the proposal to establish a beach-head for mining operations within Western Australia's World Heritage–listed Ningaloo Marine Park.'  'The article offers information on the Birthing Tree, one of the 260 sacred trees under threat from the building of the highway's Section 2b. It states that it remains common practice to offset vegetation lost by planting new vegetation. 'The article reports that filmmaker Richard Lowenstein states that musician Bono's confession got Lowenstein thinking about the "dilemma" of fame, and particularly about how it might have affected the two men's late singer Michael Hutchence.
