Kathomi Gatwiri is a lecturer at Southern Cross University. She completed a PhD with an interdisciplinary thesis entitled African womanhood, Health, Sexuality & Incontinent Bodies: A Case of Kenyan women living with Vaginal Fistulas. She also holds a Master in Counseling and Psychotherapy, and a Bachelor of Arts and Social Work with First Class Honours. Gatwiri was awarded the “Young Kenyan of the Year” for her efforts and work with African communities in Australia.
