BiographyHistory

'Lidia Thorpe is a Gunnai-Gunditjmara woman living on Wurundjeri country and was the first Aboriginal woman to be elected to the Victorian Parliament, as MLA for Northcote in 2017. She is a community worker, environmentalist, mother and grandmother.' (The Lifted Brow, No. 40, Dec 2018: 111)
